The courier doesn’t give you a package
You have to figure out the exact reason for which the courier doesn’t want to give you a package personally to your hands. Usually there can be the following reasons:- The personal handwritten signature of the receiver indicated on the package is required- The package is requested back during the deliveryIn the first case you are required to say that the receiver gave you permission to receive the package instead of him, and you can put your signature instead of him. In the second case it’s necessary to let your supervisor know about that as soon as possible.
I cannot ship out a package as the prepaid label was issued on the date that is earlier than the date of shipment.
You have to ship out the packages on the date when the prepaid label was uploaded, or next day if the label is uploaded too late. If you for any reason cannot ship out the package on the date of uploading of the label, you are required to inform your supervisor about that.
The package is much damaged
You have to describe it in the inspection report. In case of damage send photos with the report. Your supervisor will give you individual instructions what to do to the package.
I have received the task to combine the content of a few packages, but I don’t have an appropriate box to put all of them into one.
Sometimes the supervisor will ask you to combine the content of a few boxes into one. As a rule you can put the content of two or three boxes into one as the commodity is delivered initially in big boxes. If you cannot do that, try to find the box of appropriate size in the postal office. In case if such a box is not available, you have to inform your supervisor about impossibility to combine the commodity into one box.
I wasn’t able to receive a package at home and I need to pick it up in the postal office. What shall I do?
In this case you are required to contact your supervisor immediately. You will get the authorization letter from our customer which will allow you to get the package in the postal service office. Then you are required to visit the office and ask them to give you the package personally for the name of the client. Explain them that the client asked you to pick up the package in the office and that he cannot receive it himself. In case if you cannot receive the package in the office, ask them to make redelivery of the package to your mailing address.
I have received a package back that I shipped out before. What shall I do
Sometimes postal services send the packages back because of their computer system’s errors, indication of the weight that is less than real one, inexact description of the commodity in a declaration etc. In this case you have to inform your supervisor about that immediately. We will give you a new shipping label.
I cannot fill out report/attach the photos to my report
Email your report along with the photos to your supervisor.
